I was mesmerized when I saw this picture. Absolutely stunning. And that white cross on his belly, gahh love it.

I am partial to the blacks as well but I can tell you I dislike the ear crop on that last male. It is too much like a show Dane or boxer, not enough bell and too high for me, but is a nice looking dog.

they made the dog look like a devil, thats why I liked them.

I understand about the long crop though, must've been a pain to post!

So, Corsos are supposed to have more of a show/short crop then?

Yes a shorter crop although not hacked off at the head and a decent amount of bell to make the correct triangle shape. There are a couple posts on here about corsi crops that you can see but to me that is too long making the dog have a great dane appearance to that dog. There are people that prefer it but I prefer a shorter crop but not the hacked off "warrior" crop that some people do either.

same here with my APBTs and AmBullies. I hate the look of a battle crop. It leaves nothing but holes in the dogs' head!

"cropped, it is in an equilateral triangle. If uncropped, they are medium size, triangular in shape"
According to the Standard in regards to cropping.
I am not a fan of the longer pointy dobbie crop either.
I am partial to black CC myself. But any CC of any color with correct type and expression does it for me :)

The scary piercing one that seems to see through you clear to your soul. That make you shiver when they look at you because it feels like they see everything about you, but also the scariest stare that someone that isn't familiar to the breed can experience as it leaves them very concerned if they have bad intentions!

Here is a pic of Rolex's, aka. Roly's, grandsire who also has "the look", he also happens to be another of my favorites, along with some others in his lineage like Boston, Bayron, Quasar and all those other Dyrium dogs.

I like both the short and battle crop IF done correctly of course. Even saw a dane one time with a short crop it actually looked pretty good. IMO

really ? can u find a picture of this dane r of danes with this cut ?

I'll have to look on one of my many CD's about GD, ahaha:) Not only did he have the short crop but he sported an interesting color pattern. However from the photo's this dog was all muscle. o_O

Honestly I would consider the type of crop this GD had. Of course its different strokes for different folks, some people thought it was ugly on a dane. However I'd rather have a decent short crop than a botched rabbit crop.

I might be a little partial but I like these ones ;) as well as the ones I posted before and a breeder friend of mine has a female pup that I have only seen pics of so far and she has the stare down. She is doing great things in the ring and is going to surpass her daddy before you know it :) About Time Cane Corso also has some of the nicest pictures when it comes to capturing that intense stare.100_1498azoe.jpgTica 15mths.jpgRowan 15.jpgSequoia 1.jpg
