My Corso puppy Leo, gets lab most often right now. I guess I kind of see it, because he is so dark, but when he is side by side with other lab puppies there is no question the two breeds a very different.
I have got Pitt-bull once from a lady in our puppy class, but she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I quickly gave up calling my dog a Cane-Corso, because no one had any idea what the heck I was saying. Actually about 4 months ago I was the same way, so I can't say much. I now just refer to him as a Italian mastiff. All they hear is mastiff, and I almost always get, oh I have an uncle who has one.
None of the wrong comments bother me. Actually I love telling anyone who will listen how amazing this breed is, and the wrong guess on the breed often sparks that conversation.
