Now that Cane is grown, he is not allowed out amongst people but most commonly we hear from a distance " Oh Shit". They never come up and ask what he is. LOL

We usually get asked first if they are mastiff's then we get what kind?
I haven't gotten really anything else with Aurora, once or twicw asked if she was a Neo. When walking Black Jack and Raw we usually get the sidewalk to ourselves lol. But a lot of people approaching and asking questions.
They tend to get a fair amount of attention.

I had a lady at a yard sale in front of my house call Juno a boxer. The friend having the yard sale told her she wasn't and the lady argued stating she had had boxers all of her life and she knows what they look like. This was a month or so ago. The lady looked at me and asked me, "isn't that a boxer". I kindly replied no, it's a Cane Corso. The look on her face was like I smacked her. I then told her Juno was an Italian Mastiff and she said "oh okay" like she suddenly knew.

Last week when I took Juno in for her eye surgery, since Juno loves my vets office for some reason, a guy vet tech said his boxers were rambunctious also. I didn't have to correct him. All the women there love Juno and I thought they were going to jump on him as they corrected him. They even pronounced Cane the correct way. Juno is the only CC they see.

I constantly have people thinking that both of my CC are pitbull mixes... I too have to explain that they are Italian Mastiff's ~ I am to the point of having both dogs a shirt made explaining that they they ARE NOT pits or pit mixes...

In the past month I have been asked 3 times if he is a Shar Pei. Yes a 130 pound Shar Pei. Just last week I was told he looks like a Husky....A HUSKY. That one I could not understand. There is one puppy at the dog park that does look like a mini Boerboel. He is a Shar Pei x Beagle and 20 lbs. I was told that the normal mix is a Shar Pei x Basset Hound and is known as a Walrus...Why?

I am always getting asked if Gia is a Pit bull.. She is only 12 weeks old.. I just say Cane Corso until the look at me puzzled and then I say Italian Mastiff.. The facial expressions never get old..Lol

1st of all they grab my baby from behind(note she almost lost a hand) n said he's a beautiful prease n would love to have puppies by him, i said to them do u have a death wish y would grab a LARGE dog( i was super mad ) than i told them rustie is a corso, lady said OOH.... a corso mix, GRR.... yes i grunted, i NOO cane corso, just a corso, than the lady says well there pretty much the same," (*&^*%^^&9(*)*)" i told her to find some other fool to make money off of, than i walk away i was so close going a peace of my mind, her husband was there too but he was smart enought to stay out of the satuation
