Pet Peeves

You won't be hated alone :) I'm that "crazy cat lady" when it comes to children. I don't have the patience for them but there have been a handful of children that didn't bother me. I gave a couple a compliment about their child's upbringing. I was in a pet store with Thor and the family was asking me question about him, and while most children talk over their parents making snide smart remarks. This little girl I don't know her age but she was very young. Politely waited until her parents finished talking with me addressed me so formally , I mean seriously she was VERY FORMAL and proceeded with her question. I know you can't judge a book by the cover but the family seem like your "average" middle class . I had to keep my mouth shut I was in such disbelief, lol. Not all children are monsters but the bulk of them are thanks to their "no parent."

That's the problem with the justice system now. So many teenagers/young adult screwing up their lives bc mommy & daddy couldn't raise their child the proper way. I'm old school. Kids should address their elders with respect. Yes ma'am, no sir. Period. :)

So, yeah, I have always had a pet peeve with parents. Parents can be horrible and often when I see a kid acting up, it is the parent I want to slap because I know that the parent has caused many of the problems. My husband used to laugh at me when I would come in and complain about the parents but then he coached hockey and he ended up doing the same. Of course, I know that the school, with all the battles I have had with them, are saying the same thing about me. :p

Its definetly the parents (or guardian, or whatever adult is raising them) fault. Kids LEARN to act that way, whatever "that" might be.....

I have a pretty stupid pet peeve. When people harp on me for wearing flip flops when it's 45 degrees. Hey guess what I do what I want. ;)

See, I wouldn't harp on you but in my mind, you do not wear sandals before May Two Four (that is a holiday up here). Also, never where socks with sandals, ever. And if you have nasty feet with ungroomed toenails, don't wear them either.

Lol in Texas you could be wearing them in December. We've had 70+ degree weather in "winter" before. Now I wouldn't go tromping around in the snow with sandals & certainly would not wear socks with them. That's just a given! ;)

I get professional pedicures about every 6-8 weeks so my little toesies always look nice.

The sandals before May Two Four probably wouldn't be a problem if I lived down there.

And Smart...you're just going to have to put up with that peeve.
