Cody it's never too late to start. I technically just started yesterday. I ate horribly on Sunday but I rode horses for 3 hours so I got an ok workout. I can tell bc my butt & legs are sore! I got really unmotivated the last time I tried to pick the diet up again around August so I'm hoping I can stick with it this time. My motivation is seeing the way I look in the mirror & not wanting to look this way anymore. Oh & I've been watching biggest loser.

I've been trying to start on a daily basis, but by the end of the day I lose all control, so I will call today my day 1. I have a Zumba class at lunch today with a couple of girls from work, never tried it before so it shoud be good for a laugh if anything. My hubby and I are planning to go to Cuba in April and I told him on the weekend that I am not going in this body (he wanted to know who's body I was going to go in, what a comedian) so I need to buckle down and get this done.

Hahaha jakesmum, I probably would've shot it back to him & said something like maybe I can borrow (insert good looking celebrity's name here)'s body for a while. I can't stand the people who can eat whatever they want & not gain an ounce. And even if they do you can't see it!! It's not fair. I tried the Zumba game on my Wii console & it's interesting to say the least. The first time I kind of had a hard time keeping up. But I think once you learn the moves you'll be golden. It's pretty fun. This body cleanse is killing me. What I wouldn't give for some cheese & bread. But can't have any kind of dairy for SIX MORE DAYS. AHHHHHHHHH!!! Last night was awful. I think if someone would've brought me a 5 lb steak I would've eaten the whole thing & asked for seconds.

Holy mother of god!!! I survived-barely.... That is a much better workout than I thought it would be, I haven't sweat that much in years and I am going to be hobbling tomorrow. Makes me realize that I am in much worse shape than I thought I was. However, saying that, it was fun, I really enjoyed it, I have no coordination but the music is great and the time just flew by.

Just seen this thread, I lost thirty pounds last year from feb-sept. And found most of them back since..ugh.. I do good at work on the ship because we have a nice gym and I don't have much else to do besides workout. Its the six weeks off eating steaks and hot wings and enjoying adult beverages that gets me. Its on this year. I started at 230 last Jan and made it down to 198 at one point and now 214. I will be down to 195 jn time for summer and will be happy to hold a 185-190. I can do this!!!

Thanks guys! I wish I could eat a whole plate of cheese right now lol

I've been fighting a sinus infection since just after Christmas so haven't even started yet. I need my comfort food while I feel puny, I'll take one for the team and eat this for ya. ;)

A week in, im down 6.5 lbs. It's been raining and cold and dark here, yesterday was the first day the clouds were a lighter gray so took the dogs for a walk. Have been doing some pilates, but no major type of work out. I have a plan to start running again, though. that's def my poison. Well not really an actual plan. More like a hope.
