Ron's dog is an amazing dog.. Doesn't say ALL CCs .. Ron has done great work with him .. But he had to work him and the dog had to want to work for him

Right, as with ALL the dogs we are talking about....

I think anyone can agree dogs are watered down. But ust like Fila's are watered down, so are your beloved presas. So now that we are comparing two watered down dogs, I'll say again..... A dog that runs a field for a few hours aint the same as one that actualy has a ob from dusk till dawn. Or are you just saying yall use holy water? We have also agreed you have worked with weak Filas. So your opinion on the ability of a fila to work is about as trust worthy as my opinion on a presa ability to work. The diffrance is I aint stepping on your breed. You know, talking shit about a breed when the reality is you have very very little experiance with. Like you went off on Mike for.

Work is not work. If you think your dog considers all work ust work, your the one who's being blind. If all work is ust work, why have you admitted ust above some dogs you have had excelled at this, yet not that? It's all the same yea?

You mean to tell me there are no more slaves? Damn, where have I been. Next you might tell me we have a black president

ahhhhhhh and there it is, someone just got butthurt.......i don't think anybody was talking down any breed of dogs. If we were, i woulda said Filas remind me of XL bassett hounds and any dog built and looking like a bloodhound couldn't run down let alone take down my wife's shihpoo mutt.

my Fila breeder still works hers on her cattle farm,if they tired so quickly she would not use them.they may not have a call to hunt slaves, but hers also run her land to protect from predators such as bears, bobcats and a lot of coyotes.so,I for one do not like blanket statements regarding any breed.until one has travelled the US and visited all, probably best to say with the specimens personally witnessed. ok,lots more has been said since I had started this reply.but to say that no more slaves,no work for Filas?!they catching of slaves was a bonus!that was not their purpose, which is why they are so effective in their jobs today.

Oh and my Fila coes from a real farm where the dogs do real work that actualy pay bills. Yea they really do heard cattle right here in one of the largest cattle producing areas of the world. Yea mom and dad and sis and bro they all work for rear

Awesome!! Glad YOURS works but what about the other 1000? Just to say a few.

We can sit here and go back in forth
I never have put Filas down. I know the ones I have trained in Obedience would crawl in your lap and be mean to NOTHING.
All the breeds on this board had an awesome past and I wish THEY ALL kept to the true dog of the past. All the breeds here may they be working or pets are good dogs!

But if we want to put the most athletic dog on here it would actually be treeing currs bc they hunt, catch, farm, herd etc. if I hunted with my Presas I would have this breed with them!! These are an athletic breed!!!!

Well I was not talking bout you or your comment. But frankly I dont mind my dog looking like a hound mix. Because it is a fucking hound mix. But you only prove your ignorance when saying any dog that looks that way cant do their ob. They have been doing it for avery long time looking like that hound mix. If you new anything at all about the fila you would understand why they look how they look. But yall keep playing games and calling it work. ahahahaha

Hi my People!

Just to toss in an underdog.. from what I have been reading about Tosa Inu's and hearing from Breeders I have been talking to (This has just been recently as I believe my RottXMastiff possibly Has Tosa in him) say that the lower to mid weight class Tosa's are very athletic being able to do anything from Schutzhund, agility, weight carts to tracking ability. They also mention that they are highly trainable with a willingness to please the handler. They never said anything about the Tosa tiring out quickly (mind you I don't see this being a case as they were bred to be a sport fighter).

Note: I have never to my full knowledge met, trained or touched a full Tosa Inu. I am just going off of research.

when you throw a net out there and say FILAS tire to slow. Or a net out and say filas would lay in your lap, thats putting a breed down.

And the fact you "worked" filas that layed in your lap, tells me you aint worked no fila. Might have worked what some one called a fila but it aint no fila. If you you feel filas are soft then leave the suit at home and show me how confident you are. Show me how much faith you got in a weak ass fila

I have heard that they are excellent with children and animals including dogs if they are properly socialised.

Tosas are amazing dogs but in reality very little do man work like Schutzhund folks try and there is a breeder in the states that did.
And in all my years of doin weight pull I have never seen one doing it. Not saying there might be one

I did not get mine to work a farm, mine protect my family.I have never said I got them for any other reason.my oldest has gone back many times to her breeders farm and jumped right in.But, I too have handled many Filas, been in the world of Filas and Dogos for over 20yrs. And, have seen some very bad and some of the best ing the Fila world.

I will still state I have trained some on Obedience. That is not putting the breed down when I say it would lay in the lap
That's just your arse getting hurt.
Put the suit away why do you think I am stupid. Will I test sure once they take me off medical care you fly my ass out.
It's sad you have to take the tread to threats ..
