Looking into getting a Cane Corso Pup

I believe there were 85 dogs in Vegas this past spring and the next one is on the East coast so there should be LOTS!
Also as the CCAA is the parent breed club there are AKC points at that event. So their tends to be more dogs.
The SACCI event doesn't count towards AKC points but always sounds like fun and they have working events as well.

The CCAA show I think focuses mainly on conformation but I think where it is held in conjunction with AKC shows there will be some corsi competeing in Obedience, Rally-O, etc. The SACCI is in conjunction with UKC and they do have some more working events for those interested in those.

There is also Westminster but that has limited number of dogs as they must be champions and the top 5 get invites and the rest is first come first serve. We are hoping to make it to either the Westminster one this year or PA but a lot will depend on work schedules :)

Ooooh Westminster! Always wanted to go there. Well I haven't completely decided what I want to do just yet so keeping options and ears open.

Yeah see what you can work into your life... even making it to some show in your area if there are a few corsi entered is still better than none :)

Abbotsford should have a few CC there again this year.
I would have loved to go to Westminister last year, but I am opting for the Nationals in PA, more people, more dogs and a bit more relaxed atmosphere. Besides Westminister will be changed next year. It is only the BIS at MSG, the rest will be at the Piers.

Yeah I go to Abbotsford every year. I take Friday off work and go Friday and Sat, usually by Sunday Im all dog showed out. Been doing it for about 8 years now, so thrilled Corsos are finally included! They are the most stunning looking dogs at the show.
