We drove out of state for our EM and passed a bridge that was Biggs Road, so we named him Biggs, that and he's big.
Thor was already named when I got him....for the little one been about three weeks and I still can't pick out a name....
Hello. Some names are obvious (like naming your mastiff Godzilla ) other's aren't. I'm curious to know why to decided to name your dog what you did and the story--if you have them--of your aha! Moment. Here is mine:
It was about a week after I had brought my 8 week old short haired saint bernard puppy home and I STILL hadnt decided on a name! I had a list but none seemed quite right. I had already began the socailization process as much as I was able (I still had a few shots left to give him before I could take him out) and I had set myself the daunting task of introducing him to 100 people (and their pets) before he was 3 months old!! And I was getting ready for a friend of mine and her 4 month old kittens Topsy and Turvy to come over. So far my pup had taken everything in stride but when these kittens arrived he was at a total loss. What WERE they? He was totally confused, and the longer he was around the kittens the more confused he got. Why didn't they bark? What was that wierd sound they made? Why were they so small? And he did this cute thing where he titled his head to the side and one of his ears raised up ever so slightly--as much as a floppy earned dog's ears can raise up--and barked a question. It was because of this that I named him Vex (his full name is Vexation, meaning confusion) animal crossing island names. And it is a look he still gives me quiet frequently (I nearly named him Spock though because of how much it reminded me of that quirk of the eyebrow Spock always gave), Especailly when I talk to him for a long time or I'm upset.
