Anyone else doing Agility?

I'm surprised that they were even allow to participate. From the trainers I spoken to most want you to have at least basic OB down. Guess it varies.

So was I. What makes it worse is that this is intermediate 2 so they have gone they 2 other agility courses and still don't have the prerequisites (IMO) solid yet. I can tell that Jiggers and I are having more fun than the others, usually, since we're able to concentrate on just the agility obstacles.

Ya that would drive me batty lol. Not that in my class the dogs are the best... Black Jack and the Rottie in my class are probably the only 2 that have their OB down. That said Dum dum does get a little over excited at times and "forgets" his basics like heel and come while he is running off to do the course again... lol, it never takes him long to remember but at times a guy's gotta go do the tunnel 1 or 2 more times first... But ya, it is nice having his basics solid. Although I have found our biggest trouble is getting him on my right side. He automatically wants to be on my left so that is going to be our biggest struggle I believe. I am getting him trained to come to my right side when I say "Right" but neither of us is comfortable with it yet. That will take time.
