Haha what are the chances of that? When you say boy is that your son or dog?

Musicdeb, thanks, I'm going to have to do some research on it I guess, I always thought dogs ate their meat uncooked lol. I'm on my way to search dr Becker now :)

I took out the small crate and sectioned off the 48" to see how much room he would have... Is this too much room for him to have accidents?

Let me clarify. I do not cook Titan's meat, I only brown the outside to get the juices flowing on the meat. The only meat I cook is his livers and chicken. I do not cook any of the bone because cooked bone can harm a pup.

What kind of camera do you use? Are you a professional photographer? What settings did you use for that photo? I like the shadows in the pic.

hey, Ray welcome to the forum
can I ask you what your day is like being that you live alone Im curious
what is Abel like when you leave the house for work/life

my understanding corsi pups can get seperation anxiety
I too will be getting a corsi within the next year or so and just want to be prepared if my life doesnt change
within that time frame. I own my house but have a basement suite so Im curious as our situations are a touch similar

ps
musicdeb if you are taking photography classes and enjoy the effects
look at adobe lightroom very powerful/user friendly program

I haven't left him home for long, but every time I leave he cries. This week will be the test for him, he got his jaw suck in the crate during the 2nd week I had him so he won't bite the crate, at least not right now.

Do you live TV or music on for him while you're gone? Background noise seems to help. Does he have a stuffed animal, pillow or blanket to cuddle with while you're gone? Are you or someone returning to let him out to go potty at the appropriate times?

I leave the tv on and his favorite stuffed animal, I haven't left him alone for longer than 2-3 hrs. This week I will be pressing 3-4 hours. Today Abel has had diarrhea all day, and he just threw up before dinner. Do you guys think he's ok or should I bring him to the vet?

give it a day or so
pups get into all sorts of stuff and can just pass through them
please like me know the progression of leaving Abel is going, its really my only concern. I could have my house mate
let him out but am curious as to what kind steps a single person with a corsi has to go through.

ps. if you like some extra photoshop material pm me
I have a bunch.

He didn't eat dinner or drink water, he threw up going down the stairs again and diarrhea again in the yard. I think he's completely empty, when I try to feed him he looks away. Hopefully tomorrow is better!

Did you recently change his food? Feed him boiled chicken or boiled hamburger with brown rice to reset his system for about 3-4 days.

Did he recently have shots? If so, call the vet.

Give him ice cubes so he gets some fluids into his system.

When he's in the crate, leave him frozen wash cloths to chew on and/or kongs with treats. I would hold back on any treats until his diarrhea has stopped. Did you start him on new treats?

I haven't changed anything, he threw up a again, no food just white mucus , and in the hall on the way out, tried to poop but saw nothing. He's in the crate for the night. I will try frozen eashcloth

White mucous is a sign of URI or it could be parvo. Has he had shots yet? If he continues to throw up and not drinking water or eating ice cubes and not keeping water down, take him to the vet. URI requires antibiotics. Parvo requires immediate attention because it can be fatal depending on the how long he's had it.

To be safe, call the vet NOW!
