Question for the Americans: WTF is with Donald Trump?

I'm wondering If the people of the USA are aware of how bad Trump Is making America look to the rest of the world. Is he really popular? The European press are suggesting he's getting the blue collar vote despite the racism and misogyny and the spoken English of a 12 year old. What is his appeal?

Well, I admire his courage and him speaking his mind. Right now, he would get my vote, and I am a lifetime democrat.
Not looking to start an argument, is my opinion and only my opinion.

I'm Canadian, so I won't weigh in...other than to say it is interesting to watch. We have our own federal election on right now where the biggest issue the incumbent has with his perceived main rival is that his hair is too nice and he's too attractive to be smart, sooo...I don't think I can speak. You might end up with your first orange man as president.

The race for the presidency has been turned into a circus. People all over the world must be thinking "what idiots!" I'm not one to discuss politics but what our country needs is someone who can balance military, foreign policy, economics and manage to treat citizens with respect. Trump is an entertainer. Not a president. (not trying to start an argument either!)

Hey Bentley, long time no see! Yep, we are aware. Not much we can do,can't control an individual with his kinda money. I'm terrified that the ultimate choice will come own Trump or Hillary. I may have to seek asylum somewhere!

The best report I've read was by a reporter who had lived in Toronto during the Ford scandal. He said he never thought he live through something like that once but now was living it out again with Trump standing in for Ford. Neither sound like suitable leaders to me.

Trump is a shill candidate for the Democratic Party, he is just there to pull votes from the republican party.

"He's just not ready" ....

Whether it's Mulclair or Trudeau, I don't care too much. As long as Harper and his Conservative government comes to and end and stops destroying Canada, I'll be happy.

The trump thing has been pretty entertaining to follow though! Although, if I was in the States, is be voting for DEEZ NUTS!

At first I was amused by the sheer ridiculousness of trump. Now I am deeply embarrassed that he actually has support. Yup it's pretty humiliating when I think of our world image. On the bright side it is amazing comedy fodder.

Then again I said the same when W was prez (both times) and I instead sucked it up and bore the shame of it ...
