He's an adult pup so his calcium should be 0.5 to 0.9 and phosphorous should be 0.4 to 0.8.Im a bit confused on the calcium to phosphorus ratio?
Am I wrong when looking at these numbers?
The food he currently eats has 1.2% calcium and .9% phosphorus. .is that not a 1.2:.9 ratio?
You said that it's too high, but when I look at all the suggestions for food, they appear much higher, or the same.
Yes, he could stand to loose a few pounds. He should have the indentation on the side right before the hips, he has no indentation.Best I could do to reference his weight and body to the chart

Norman has been eating the Castor & Pollux ultra mix poultry free grain free for 3 months and is doing great on it! It is salmon which is kind of stinky and makes him smell like a bear but I don't mind, his skin is clear, fur super shiney and firm stool
Let us know what the vet diagnosis for the poor boy.View attachment 49136
Narrowed the location of the pain. While patting him on the side, this area here caused him to whine the loudest I've heard yet. Then I pressed on the area and it caused the whine again. Definitely where the pain is worst.
Now, he just woke up from from laying on that side for about 30-45 minutes so I'm not sure if that causes anything, but it is the side he seems to put less weight on when walking.
Trying to set up a vet appt friday
Well, the doc says it's a pinched nerve in his neck. Cyrus wouldn't let him turn his head to the right or up, muscle was a little stiff, and said pinched nerves in the neck usually send a false sense of pain radiating down one of the front legs, in his case, the right.
put him on a muscle relaxer and some anti-inflammatory meds and said in 2 weeks if there's no progress to return.
He's had one case in 25 years where he has diagnosed the same thing, but on an 8 year old rott, which turned out to be bone cancer, so in two weeks if he hasn't healed they'll do x ray
Let's hope it remains the pinched nerve in the neck and not bone cancer. Keep us posted on his progress.Well, the doc says it's a pinched nerve in his neck.
