random whining

Well I'm back.
Cyrus had been doing good for some time. I've lowered his food intake to decrease his weight and have my best to take him on daily walks.
unfortunately, out of the blue, it has started again. Same symptoms it seems, only worse reactions. He whines with every move, won't lift his head up (had to hold his food bowl low for him to eat), and rarely moves.

Another vet appointment tomorrow. I'm worried this time considering the possibility if he didn't heal.

That's sad. Poor boy must be in a lot of pain. Hoping for nothing serious.

My old Dozer has a neck problem too one vet says nerves another says a disc issue. Some days he will cry out when moving around on the couch or when he gets up to do something, sometimes when I try to move him or help him he will cry out just a little so I know to move my hand to another position. Most of the time he is just fine. He is on aspirin, at about 400mg per day and I know it helps him.

I hope Cyrus is okay and it is nothing major.

For those interested, cyrus had an xray today and everything was negative. There was a golf ball size lump in the right side of his neck in which the vet did some sort of biopsy, turns out to be a fat deposit. Another pinched nerve in the neck is the verdict was told it will be a common occurrence until his weight is brought down. Vet would like to see him at the 150 range, he's dropped 10 pounds in a month and is 190 currently.

This is all good news as I was fearing the worst when I seen "lump" written on the paper
