We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

I carry a springfield xd compact 9, however my girl can make it to the door faster than I can draw my weapon if need be.

I have a 7yr old foster/adopted corso and though I have some idea of what he's been through in past life, I didn't know what to expect w/strange dogs etc. Our neighborhood psycho who doesn't control her dogs has a blue heeler who jumped on Cane's neck kind of like you described. (Psycho & dog both trespassing on our property-it's a rural area). My husband was yelling at the blue heeler as he was trying to get to the dogs and Cane never batted an eye, barked, growled or moved other than to shake his head to get the dog off. As the heeler went rolling down the road, Cane just looked around at us with a WTF expression. Haven't seen the heeler since. I think some dogs just have a great disposition and it sounds like we both lucked out in that dept. However, we still (when we have the option) properly introduce dogs, people, kids, etc. to Cane or any other dog we are fostering/caring for.
Love the fisher price line and 9 mill and a zaplight are my choice. :)

just a update: Ever since the issue that was presented in my article, Honor is doing great with other dogs. She hasn't had any issues and seems fine :)
