I personally think you should feed her chicken or beef and rice for a couple of days, untill her tummy settles completely. Anyway, what i still don't understand is why they didn't giver her nausea and pain medication (antispastic) the first time you brought her.

They gave her an amox/demox shot when I took her in on monday... it didn't help much

I'm not a vet but i think that is an antibiotic. I would think that for nausea you would give nausea medication, like Cerenia.

Cinder is home and you can def tell she was cooped up... little turkey is EVERYWHERE!!! No official diagnosis... and everything has cleared up in her intestinal tract... so going easy with feeding the next few days... and keep looking for a new vet...

i was thinking the same thing. An antibiotic has the potential to upset the stomach even further. I have been really confused with every step this Vet has taken. I hope she clears some things up for you.

Cinder is home as of about 1:15 this afternoon... you can def tell she was cooped up at the vet office over night and the turkey is into everything EVERYWHERE!!
She won't let us out of her sight!!! Everyone is happy to see her and have her back!!!
No official diagnosis, and everything seemed clear on the xray this morning... so we may never know what caused her issues...
I know we will not be going back to this vet... no explication of what happened... they did a barium treatment yesterday and a fecal... no cause, and no solution... just "appears to have all cleared up with the barium treatment" ... im so confused...
Thanks for all the well wishes, and she should be back to eating regularly very soon!!

So glad Cinder is home! What a sweet face - give her extra kisses from us!! I'd agree time to find a new vet - at least one who answers your questions better!
