I don't care for any political discussion, I also believe a firum that has it should have a subforum that is locked and requires a consent application to be involved in it. I can talk guns, dogs, games and chickas all day long. And not in that order if I have my way.

Well, I have never dated anyone I met online. I have some great friends that I met online and go and see so I guess that works. It is hard to date online when you're married. I don't think my husband would like that. LOL. Actually, a friend of mine sent me flowers a few weeks ago and my husband's first words when he saw it was, "Okay, what's the name of the guy I have to kill?" I think it might go sour if I was dating someone online.

That being said, I would be open to it if I was single. My SIL met her husband from a dating site, they have been married close to 3 years. My BIL met his wife online (she is from China) and they have been together 11 years (two years while they were trying to work out the visa stuff) and their daughter is 8. And then my FIL met a woman online and has been dating her for a few years. So it does work. Of course, I know people who have some horror stories.

I don't normally do that and you won't catch me talking politics, but just saw that news yesterday and know Mike is a gun owner in CA (I am not). Anyways, it's in the chit chat section. Pretty much anything goes here.

Don't leave. I have found all the gun and politics that are posted on this forum are usually very playful and people don't get too bent out of shape if you have a differing opinion. It is what makes this a great forum.

I met my last three boyfriends online (this includes my current bf). I find it to be safer than going out to bars. I work with children so there is no chance or meeting a guy at work lol. And I go to college but I simply go to class and then leave, no hanging around campus or going to campus parties (I live an hour away from my school). So online dating was convient and safe for me. I would have email and phone communication for a few weeks before meeting them. Only one was a complete liar and piece of shit ha.
