Hello Everyone!!
I posted pictures of Sam here when he was 6 weeks asking what everyone thought he was. He was sold to me as a Fila, but everyone here found that questionable thinking he was more of a Cane Corso than anything. (which is fine, I love him unconditionally...even if he did eat my favorite shoe and gnaw bed post)
I wanted to post some additional pictures to see if that was still the consensus and ask a few questions....
1) Has anyone taught their Fila to track? My little guy LOVES to track. Puts his nose to the ground and runs (then face plants when he gets going too fast), during our daily walk. He just loves it. I'd love to encourage this if there is a good way to do this, I don't want to encourage him to track everything (rabbits, deers, etc) since I'd never see him again, but it would be a fun hobby to do with the kids since we have so much land out here
2) how much should he be eating at this age? Some days he is a never ending vacuum, others he eats a few bites in the AM, nibbles throughout the day and then ignores dinner. He doesn't appear to have any tummy aches but it freaks me out when this goes on for more than a day.
He is SUPER heavy...he doesn't look it, or even appear that large, but he is like a tank. 35lbs already. Heavy bones?
TIA!!!
Katherine (and Sam!)
