I'm so glad I found this forum. Its helping to answer some questions I've had about my new pup. We got him in January at 11 weeks. He is now 17 weeks and 58.8 lbs. He is so much fun, so smart and so damned stubborn. He will learn and listen if he wants, but when he is done...he is done. He loves the snow we have had and going for walks and hates the rain. Every morning when I have my coffee and get on the computer, he gets on the couch and slowly moves over to me until he can't get any closer and then barks at me to put it up (which I then do) and then he just basically throws himself on me and proceeds to go back to sleep. At least I get to finish my coffee. Heres a couple of pics one from 12 weeks and one from l7 weeks.0225141959b.jpgIMAG0138.jpg

His dad is just a year and a half and weighs 130 lbs, His mom is just a little younger and she weighs 120. There were only 3 in the litter and he was the smallest, but within two weeks they said he quickly passed the other two. I'm feeding him 3 times a day (blue buffalo lg breed puppy - grain free) He eats approximately 2 cups a feeding and acts like that is not enough. But seems satsified within a few minutes and normally goes to sleep. LOL

There are so many great looking companions on here. You can tell how much love and admiration people have for these gorgeous dogs. I feel like a new mom, constantly taking pics and videos.

Yes. My wife says our BM pup gets more attention than she or my son. Take a picture with him sitting next to that same doorframe each week for a year and you will look back and be shocked to see the growth.

I will definitely do that. I was shocked when I looked back at his first pics. His paws are as big as my hands. LOL

Yes he is. I just took him out for his daily walk and he kept stopping and sitting. I know already this means I'm not walking right now. So we came back in and he went right to his crate, laid down and is already snoring. LOL:eek:

Wow can't belIeve I didn't notice it the first time you posted but I live in stafford too we should get them together to play mines a couple weeks older and super friendly but your's is quite a bit larger I'm sure they'd have fun here's my number 540 845 3609 it's hard to find puppies for her to play with. I live in northern stafford but can drive wherever

Welcome! Where did you get him? He's gorgeous! I'm in Richmond and am finally ready to get another BM after losing my last one way too young last April.

Your description of him sounds SPOT ON for a BM, but it gets better! Enjoy :)

Awesome, we would love to do that. We are in North Stafford also. Stone River to be exact. Moving our daughter today/tomorrow. Are you available this weekend?

We got him from a couple in Pittsburgh. I think we found our perfect companion. We wanted to take the sister too, but my brain kicked in and said no. Two puppies are way too many. We will wait until he is older and then possibly get another. I hope you find what you are looking for.
