  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Mmmmmm I love the smell of gunpowder and lead!

My friend just bought 100 acres about an hour away from here so I'll be shooting a lot more real soon. We're going to set up our own little target course with some things similar to what they have on Top Shot. I like going to the range, but I much prefer to shoot on private land where you can do what you want and not worry about some idiot muzzle sweeping you. I currently own 5 pistols and 11 rifles, one of which is a Marlin 336. They're great guns for shooting deer or coyote, especially if it's within 150 yds.
I Big Game hunt. I needed to be able to take down Moose, Elk, Deer and a Bear(for defence). I am not big into taking down Coyotes, Bear or small game like Chickens, porcupine or skunk and if I do I try and use my bow. Well I use my Bow for everything I hunt really unless I feel like using my guns later in the season. lol. Butt hat is besides the point! I have never actually shot a gun on a gun range. It has always been done out in the Boonies on private land. I agree that is so much nicer than being around strangers and newbies that talk your ear off. I came to shoot Damnit not socialise!

No one talks to me or bothers me when I'm shooting at the range. Unless you provoke conversation with them they leave you alone. :)

Last deer season I was half tempted to shoot a coon just bc I had a strong feeling he was taunting me. Lol

Yea, go through background check. In TX, we have concealed handgun licenses. A lot of people on here pack.

Yeah, but the only gun I can get is probably a water gun... Or a BB gun tops maybe...

I've heard good things about Glock 19's too. Would be one of the first ones I looked at if I got a pistol.

Void, You should check out the Ruger P345, too. An absolutely fantastic gun. Smooth trigger pull and so little kick that you won't believe you are shooting a .45...And it is sexy as hell, too. Cway, I am always itching for a new gun.

You would love it, raech....I always wanted a .45 but 1911's are just too much for my small hands. This Ruger is considered a compact (it is not incredibly small though....not going to be a good pocket gun, by any means) but it is an awesome gun and it is a single stack so it isn't too big for my hands. So far it is my absolute favorite. And accuaracy?? It is superb!

I just looked at a couple on gun broker. I shot a kimber on Sunday & it was way less kick than my 40 cal. I was shocked

Lot of greats guns out there but gotta love a Glock 19. I tried the Glock 23 and 26, but 19 won me over.
