Meet Pablo!!!

I just picked my presa puppy up on Tuesday. Pablo is only 10 lbs at 8 weeks and 3 days, he was one of the smaller ones in his litter. I'm a bit concerned he is going to be small when grown, is 10lbs too low for his age? I cant seem to find much info on the topic online and when I asked the breeder he said its not a concern. His parents were huge so I hope he will catch up. Either way he's a happy smart little guy full of energy!! Here are a few pics.

He is precious! I wouldn't worry about him catching up. My Daisy (EM) got her name because she was the runt of the litter and was a delicate petite flower. Um, she is now a bit on the fluffy side (as in i'm not fat i'm fluffy) but she definitely did not stay a runt!

Oh my, he is adorable! I just wanna cuddle with him! I don't really know about the statistics of eventual weight in relation to puppy weight but the weight of the parents should give you an idea of where he will end up.

Nice looking little guy - as others said, don't worry about size right now, as long as he is healthy that's what counts.

I also wouldn't worry about size - sometimes the smaller pups are just a few days behind the others in the conceiving stage... but they normally catch up quick!
Enjoy him when he's small, he'll be big before you know it.

Thanks for the kind replies!! Yeah you all are right, size means nothing right now. On another note I'm going to need new socks lol, this little guy loves chewing up every pair of socks I have...hahaha

Teehee......this is how I "trained" my hubby to pick up his socks and underwear off the floor with our chi cross. <snicker> yes, I'm a little evil. I never redirected the pup when she found his "gems" littered on the floor.....took only a week or so and hubby started picking up after himself.
