Don't forget to paint his toe nails, dress him up and blow bubbles on his belly for me, just like you said you would on FB!! I'll be waiting for the evidence. ;)

Belly bubbles. . . Cute. Makes more sense than "raspberries", which is what we call them.

I'm so glad I am not the only one who does belly bubbles lol. I do that to Daisy all the time. Makes her go nuts & get ridiculous zoomies. Duchess on the other hand I don't do it to her anymore bc she would probably kick me in the face

This wait is driving me absolutely insane!!! 5 full days left before I pick my boy up and I swear it seems like years since I saw him for the first time at a few days old. Friday at 12:30pm, I will be at the breeders house to pick him up. That is right after his 8 week check up at the vet. I didn't have to really wait for Ruger. I found out about him on Wednesday and drove the 5 hours to pick him up on Saturday. It is so different this time. I got Ruger the day before he was 6 weeks old and only waited a few days after deciding to get him. I get to visit Magnum and it is ridiculous how much he is growing. He is already growing out of the "little puppy" look. He is so damn big already. I know it is best to wait until 8 weeks and I respect the breeder for doing so but I feel like I am missing so much. I am sure I sound like a lunatic but I am going to lose my mind before I can get him home.

I haven't gotten a weight on him yet but he is (parts of the day) kept in one area of the house with the other puppies and there is a board blocking the doorway. The board is two feet tall and when I first went to see him, he didn't even have his little eyes open NOW, he stands up on the 2 foot tall board and hangs over the top. He is SO tall but still chunky like a puppy.

Magnum had his first vet appointment yesterday and he was given a clean bill of health. He had already gotten his first set of shots and everything through the breeder Fruday but for piece of mind, I wanted him checked over again. I got his first heartworm, He had a nother fecal (which was negative), he was micro chipped and given a little physical. He is 8 weeks old and weighs 23.8 pounds. I knew he was feel heavy but was surprised how much he weighed since he looks so skinny. Ruger was 26 pounds at 8 weeks.

I've noticed that in Danes as well. They seem to mature a bit faster than EMs
