I don't know what they have to dream about at this age but Teal's in the middle of a good one.

Pics from yesterday at 10 days. The tails and dew claws were done and their eyes are starting to open. The boys.

Awe, too cute! Tiny adorable little puppies! I love all the new pics. :)

DalCielo CC, is removing the dew claws common practice? I'm asking because my CC had his dew claws done, (and his tail's docked, ears left natural) but I have not heard of any other ones that had them done, so now I am curious. His previous owners said that when they got him he already had the dew claws done, and tail docked. Also can you please explain the reasoning for the removal of the dew claws, is it really an issue and needs to be done? Thanks in advance.

Even within the same litter, some Corsos will, and some won't have rear dew claws. If they do, they are always removed. The fronts are optional. I like to remove them for three reasons; 1. They're absolutely useless, they no longer serve any function and it just gives you two additional nails to maintain. 2. It's too easy to damage the eye, or eyelid when a dog tries to rub something foreign from his eye (dirt, dust...). 3. The dew claw can be easily ripped from the leg of an adult working dog causing a lot of damage, whereas if removed two days after birth it is a very quick procedure that doesn't even require stitches and never has to be repeated.
