  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Has anyone received a quote from ObamaCare yet?

Dont confuse the two arguments. I am not saying aca is whats needed. I'm saying health care needs fixed and on par with every other world leader. The republicans had their chance and failed to do anything. So someone else did something. I wont argue if aca is right, I will argue points you give that dont compute in my head. Every question so far has been conveniently over looked though. If you note, I have not argued against all points, cause some are valid. Some are people listening to friends tell them stories that either are lies or not giving the real facts. Or they watched a few hours to much fox news or cnn in some cases.

The real answer to the economy is getting rid of the current tax code and a huge re org of our military. Hell we could just fix all the military BS and be out of debt. We could levy tax to balance the cost on imports to fix the trade problems. We could start handing out jail time for immigration violations and a penalty of 3x a workers yearly pay on comps using illegal works, and the job issue goes away. This s^%t aint hard.

We should cut the military and the DoD, drastically. But that is not politically correct in this country, so we continue to put massive amounts of money into it. More than the next 20 countries combined. And we can't even take care of the weakest among us and most people don't even care about that. Fat cats getting fatter, making planes and bombs we don't even need. And starting wars we definitely didn't need. THAT put our country in debt, but no one wants to talk about the elephant in the room. CUT the military. And I am a military wife.

Mine have gone up $10 total in the last 4 years.. you can damage someone else property with a car.. it's a little different.

Gunny, health care premiums have been skyrocketing for years. This is the first year that our insurance hasn't gone up. If car insurance is mandatory I really don't see why health insurance shouldn't be. There are many people out there that want insurance that they can afford. However, there are just as many out there that would rather take their chance on my dime.

Only time will tell.

How does cutting the military & the Department Of Defense help me get a better rate on insurance, or any other person effected by the ACA? Do you think if we have budget cuts they aren't going to blow the money else where?

Has there been a time where there were budget cuts and the insurance rates dropped?

Interesting thread, I guess you could survive on min wage, but if your employer offer health insurance and you buy it, it might be a little tight, lol. And if you have no insurance and get sick, you might loose your job because something that could been fixed with some meds now have turned into something worse, and you have stay home from work for a week. My son just got insurance through his work, $46 a week, he does not make much over min wage, only reason he survive is overtime and weekly bonuses. Car is a necessity here by the way, no public transportation, only commuter buses, Good luck getting a mortgage loan on min wage! Rent here is not as cheap as you think, you can maybe rent a room for $400, no apartments for less then $600 unless you want to live next door to crack heads. Moving is not always a option, it also cost money.
I know we all have different views, but I think that min wage should be enough to at least live a half decent life with health insurance. Maybe then people would have better work ethics and take some pride in their work even though they are at the bottom of the totem pole. We can not judge them all as "loosers" that have a choice, we don't know their story. Now if you are able to but do not want to work at all then you are on your own.

Back when Min Wage was instituted it was enough that a man could support his family. That was the intent.

They can't even get a website to work and you want them to have details ? HA!! Good luck..

What bothers me about the "quote" is that it does not show you details. Before Obama Care, while shopping for Health Insurance it would show you the somewhat detailed coverage and deductibles.

Jesus! I understand now. Thank you for enlightening me on where you get your information from. It explains a lot.

While you're at it could you show us a video that shows us who has cut taxes more, Bush or Obama? Try to be factual, the real numbers are out there.

I've actually read about 500 pages of the 800 page PDF version of the ACA.

I have no clue who has cut more taxes, it doesn't much matter Bush isn't the president. I'm taking it you don't like ET?
