Found this listing on Craigslist~ just thought I would post it here...

On a lighter note, I found this little gem in the "Best of CL" section (ignore the random grammar errors). Says it all, really.

S/he needs to add:

Doxin, and Dashound = Dachshund
Sheperd/Shepard/Shepperd/Sheppard = Shepherd
Masstif/Mastif/Massive/ Bull Mastiff = Mastiff or Bullmastiff
Mini Pinsher/Mini Pincher/Mini Pincer/Mini Doberman = Miniature Pinscher
Rockwiler/Rottwilder/Rotwieler = Rottweiler

I'm sure this list could go on and on...

The ways that people come up with to misspell the names of the breeds they own or breed will NEVER cease to amaze me.

I used to read the newspaper classified ads on my break and think to myself "Why would I buy a puppy from a breeder who spells it 'Shepard'?" I think you've nailed every single one of my pet peeves. I've got a very close friend who insists on calling Oscar a "massive" and my own husband has been guilty of "Rockweiler" sometimes.

I've seen "English Massive" or "Bull massive" more times than I'd like to on CL.
