Pics or it didn't happen. :)

Junior has wrenched my back a few times when out walking on the leash. He'd do a quick pull and of course I'd be turned the other way. Those were fun.

I once got a nastly cut on my forehead from a headbutt, then another time we were playing with a stick she try to grab it before i trow it and got my hand instead, almost broke it, and a couple of times she had bump into my legs from behind and lift me in the air like a paper. All unintencional and very funny now that time has go by.

Franklin plays rough but so far the only injuries I've sustained are a black eye and a split lip. I often think he will accidentally bite me when we're playing tug-of-war but it hasn't happened yet.

@Seeknox run I had a CC and he was awesome with my kids. My son would piss him off and Napolean would put a paw in him so he could not move. He would make Gavin soooo mad! They were best if buddies thoug

I've already told my broken teeth story, but it appears the CC wants to redecorate my mouth as well. Earlier this week, I was putting some casseroles in the van on the floor behind the seat and, of course, Bailey was interested and had to get right under me to check out the delicious smells. I was busy swatting her away and talking to my husband and suddenly Bailey's battering ram head came up and clocked me a good one. I saw stars and grabbed my jaw. My husband tried to find out what happened, but I couldn't talk as I had bit down hard on both sides of my tongue. A few days later and the tongue is still swollen...I sound a little drunk. Thanks Bailey! Add this to numerous other head butts, canine tooth catching on my nose and ripping the edge (noticeable and no longer symmetrical...though the Dobbie had already made it crooked), numerous small abrasions, huge paw prints on my private parts, legs decorated with scratches, and I'm sure the chiropractor will assess part of my hip woes to her body checking me into the walls, and you have the picture of a devoted Mastiff owner. Sigh!, but she looks so innocent and harmless....She's a wrecking ball, and she's not yet 70lbs. I hope she learns some spatial awareness before she puts me in a wheelchair.

At 35 lbs and nearly 5 months old Chewie has already this past weekend tripped my husband sending him flying face first into the carpet. We dread another 5 months from now as he has this idea he can walk on your feet.

I have been body slammed to the floor by a bull mastiff i use to babysit/house sit for. His owner's son came home unannounced at midnight while i was there to raid the fridge as he was a poor college student. Merlin was NOT happy about it and even tho I knew who was coming through that door and i started over to the door to take the chain off of it, he slammed me into the living room floor then ran to the door to attack. Made sure the guy wasn't coming through the door, came back to me & forcefully with his body and growls put me into the bedroom till he was sure all was safe. That was the worst, he gave me many a bruise in 5 years time tho. At 225 lbs he was like a mobile concrete block at times.

LOL sounds like a combat zone out there!!! I'm laughing out loud reading these stories!!! The tops of my feet are continually black and blue from being stepped on.

Mine sent me to the ER a few weeks ago a couple days later I got a canine tooth up my nose took me out at the knee I love it wouldn't have it ant other way. One of these times I'm going to get it good but so what I love playing with the big dogs nothing like it

The same thing happened to my husband, tore his nostril out - quite a freak accident!

For me it is getting clocked in the head (like so many others) and yesterday I was jogging when my DaneX spooked because someone drove over a pile of leaves and sticks and it made *GASP!* a crunching crackling sound that everyone knows means the devil himself is on your heels. He took OFF and luckily I was able to get my hand out of the loop of the 1.5' leash I use (his head is at my upper arm level) in time that he was not able to pull me down onto the pavement.

I have been knocked down several times by Sirius, who can get worked up when he sees another dog and his prancing and dancing around my feet always does the trick - down I go.

I am extremely nearsighted and wear glasses, and I am convinced that I'll be knocked down, my glasses will go flying, and I'm too blind to find them! I need to teach the dogs to find my glasses first, THEN walk them, lol.

None of these things would ever make me not keep giant dogs! I'll have as many as I can!

Vader will be 9 months on the 19th and he's already 110 lbs so he's hurt me a time or two playing rough. Usually something like landing on my ankle when he jumps. Hasn't sent me to the doctor yet though.

I'm not 100% sure the wife and I could have kids anymore if we wanted. He seems to have a thing for stepping on my boys when I'm sitting on the couch.

I just realized that the most common injury I get after tail bruises and claw scrapes is a hyper-extended knee by the little dog. Jiggers has a habit of curling up on my legs like a cat. If I'm awake it's not a problem because I can shift so he's not pushing straight back on the knee, asleep I have no chance. I love that he sleeps like that but he does weigh a smidgen more than a standard house cat.

How did I miss this thread? *scratching head* When I first got Titan, I was terrified of him because he would growl at me and snap. Once I found out that he felt my fear (via this forum), I took control and stopped being afraid. I finally realized he was just as afraid as I was because he had no socialization and he lived in a room 10-12 hours a day.

I also realized that he growls and barks when we play, that used to scare the crap out of me.

Now it's 19 months later and Titan and I are best buds.
