Wait...... I have to light a cig before I can even start typing.

Others, will be able to answer your question better than I can but the guy I spoke with said that one, 8 dollar bottle was the equivalent of 2 cartons of cigarettes. Which means I would have to go through 7 bottles before I reached the cost of one carton of cigarettes.

Of course you can buy more expensive liquid and who knows when the government will tax it the same way they tax cigs. So, the cost could go up significantly.

Personally, Boxergirl, please don't do it. 6 years out is fantastic and who knows just how bad for you the ecigs are and how much they are going to go up.

Vape you can get nicotine free liquid and it lasts a long time and the flavors are awesome you spend 8 dollars on a bottle that would last probably a week

I know. Intellectually I know. I also know that sucking anything into your lungs can't be good. But damn this is hard. I'm much too frugal to actually start either habit again, most likely. If I did, though, I'd go with a vapor cig. Hell, I'd probably be fine just carrying the thing around and not smoking it. Lol

I quit for two years a while back. It was all I could think about and the smell of smoke drove me crazy. I finally gave in and started again. I know what you're going through. I only smoke about 5 cigs per day now, because it's all I can afford. lol

We have Vapor's My husband LOVES his,he would be a chain smoker if we smoked in the house. I prefer the real thing but they are great when traveling ,hotels, relatives houses and in the car. I quit a few years ago and almost lost my mind! It seemed like cigarettes and the smoke were everywhere! These days you are almost an outcast if you smoke :(

AB, I put my cigs down Last Thursday at 10;30 am and have only smoked the ecig since. Right now I am using the 18 mg Marlboro flavored liquid. I intend to start dropping the nicotine level as soon as I am sure I am good without the real cigarettes. My sinus issues and allergies are gone and at the rate I am going, the bottle of liquid I bought (15.50) will last me three months or so...I wish I had bought a smaller bottle because I intend to drop the nicotine level way before then so it will be wasted.

Kris, thank you for bringing this back to the top. Debra is working from home to day, sitting here beside me. I read the thread to her and we both agreed that Saturday morning we will go to the vape store and get each of us one. She's the grown up and once we make a comment she will hold "us"/ me to it. Keep your fingers crossed for all of us. :)

Wonderful!
I've vaped since April 2012. I still smoke occasionally but overall feel (and smell, so I am told) like a non-smoker. Used to smoke 2 packs a day. Now maybe two-three packs a week, on average. Mainly when I am around other smokers.

Excellent!

Debra was wandering if she could have an occasional cigarette but mainly vape. This will help her.

We got them! Debra is doing really well. I don't think she has smoke more than 15 cigarettes since we got them Sat. morning. Keeping our fingers crossed.
