I'm updating the ads for members because of this thread.

They will be a lot less obtrusive.

As for paid memberships, I'm not sure if I want to start doing that just yet or not as I'm not sure what to offer for it. The ads are just there to help as much as possible.

I'm sure there will be memberships at a later date and multiple ways to get rid of the ads if they need to be a little more prominent again.

Shon, thank you! That is MUCH better. And thank you for keeping up the site, in spite of my whining I really do appreciate it. I maintained a very active forum for several years and I know how time consuming it can be.

What is your resolution set to, or are you using a mobile device?

I log in from my Macbook pro, my I-pad and my i-phone. With the previous setting I couldn't see any of the threads unless I scrolled down. This setting the ads are maybe 1.5 on top and the side is not bothersome. I hate to admit it but I don't know how to check the screen resolution on a mac. :|

Is it me or did the ads come back? I knew they were there in the beginning then they dissapeared, now they are back in full force. Or its me and they were always there.

They've always been there for me. not too intrusive except the first post on a thread is usually invadeded by an ad. which is fine if it is words, they move over but for a picture, the ad will cover the picture.

lol most of my ads are for cane corso puppies and breeders. wonder what's on my brain?

Can't tell you how much I hate the political ads. I come here to get away from all that sh*t. I don't ever go to political sites; no cookies on my pc; don't get it. I can put up with pugs, but punks? Bleh.

Really? I noticed them before but after some time they were there. Now I see moving ads for everything, dog food, video games, etc.

The only ad that really bothers me is the one in the first post. I belong to several forums and this is the only one I've seen that has ads that actually interfere with normal forum use.

I'll have to remember that excuse when my wife asks about my ads. "Baby, I was looking for huge racks for, um, storing, uh, you know, like storing stuff... I have NOOO idea why those type of racks are showing up in the ads! Those are too big by the way, right?"
