I think I will go with the brass swivel clasp. Now, I've seen these types of clasps on horse lead ropes. Is it the same thickness? It appears to be. As far as measurement goes, how should I go about measuring her? Her prong collar that I just bought was I think 22" with all the of the links still attached to it but since I have removed 3 I'm not quite sure how it measures now. Any suggestions?

Get a cloth tape measure and measure her head at the widest point and her neck at both ends. If you want a collar with a buckle the head does not make much of a difference. But I need a neck for sure. If you don't have a cloth tape use a string or shoelace and mark it then measure that. A 22" pinch usually means a 22.5 or 23" martingale.

So it's about midway between 20.25 & 20.5. I measured just below where her prong is supposed to sit.

A 21" should be good. Do you want the pretty shiney buckle too? If so then I will make it 22.25 then shrink it in hot water. if no buckle then I need a head measurment and we go from there. So far the Buckles have held up to a full grown Boerboel doing protection work on a decoy and another BB that tore his 1" stake out of the ground chasing after a postman.

21"-21.5" Reflective purple and reflective black (purple in the center?), martingale collar with buckle, 6 to 7 foot black with reflective purple double handle leash with brass snap swivel clasp. I hope you realize it's really going to look nice.

Purple in center is like that red one Jade has on Red in the center. I can reverse it and go black in center. I can even make it so that red can peek out from under the black center or vice verse.

I love the red collar on Jade. Purple in place of the red will look fantastic! Oh I'm so excited I may set back some vacation money & have you go ahead & make it.

Duch was PERFECT on our walk today. Didn't even react to an aggressive pitbull. Very proud of my girl.

Unfortunately I found that particular red/orange color fades fast so I no longer make that one.
Keep your vacation money, vacations are very important especially ones that include guns!

I am going to start it this week or weekend regardless of the timing. I mean if you do want to buy it. Either way I will start with the leash that way if you change your mind it is still a sellable stock item. When I see a good color combo I just can't help but to just start on it just to see what it is going to turn out like. It is the art side of my brain.

Oh no I definitely want it loved the martingale/prong combo on Jade & I think pair it with the leash & our walks will be even more enjoyable. It will be awesome to have that handle to grab if needed instead of trying to bunch up the leash in a hurry. Plus purple & black will look awesome on Duchess!
