Which formula of blue buffalo are you feeding and did you do a transition from the food the breeder was feeding?I have a new cc puppy 8 weeks old I am feeding him blue buffalo but his poop is runny should I try something different or stick with the blue buffalo HELP!!!!! PLEASE
I have a friend in Spain who's able to get Acana so I would imagine you would be able to get it in Italy as well? Let me try to find out for you.I am glad I asked because I was totally certain it was one of the best. I have been using Purina PRO Plan "Athletic", for EM probably you have to use "Robust".
So what's the best? Something I can find here in Italy as well...In my pet store I noticed Purina, Eukanuba and Trainer. I asked for Royal Canin too, but apparently they had an argument with the provider and cut off the negotiation
Well it could be two things if the puppy has been dewormed already and vaccinated. 1) Not doing a transition from the breeder's food to the blue buffalo shocked the digestive system. The best way to fix this would be to take the puppy off the kibble and do a bland diet of boiled white rice and boiled hamburg or boiled white rice and boiled chicken for about a week. At that point you can start a slow transition onto kibble by doing 75% of the bland, 25% of the kibble for 3-5 days, then 50% bland, 50% kibble for 3-5 days and then 25% bland, 75% kibble for 3-5 days before going entirely to kibble. Another problem could be that the pup has issues with grains. Honestly that particular formula of blue buffalo is a little high in calcium and phosphorus for a growing giant pup. Mastiffs don't need puppy food, and if you want to stay with Blue Buffalo I would do the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Duck or Salmon.Puppy lamb & oatmeal
So I found this website that I believe has Orijen and Acana on it so take a look and let me know!Very kind of you! Thanks
Trinity's been on Purina Pro Plan, Science Diet, Iams- limited (poor) options due to location. Drove further to try Chicken Soup For the Dog Lovers Soul... she kept being picky. Always needing some wet food or veggies added to get to her to eat her kibble and even then sometimes she would refuse which would make her vomit acid from having an empty stomach. Eventually said screw it and tried Acana regionals when I saw a local pet shop finally started bringing in quality food, although much steeper in price ($65-$85 a bag) but if she ate? Worth it. First up, Wild Prairie and still picky. Grasslands... picky. Ranchlands? WIN. She loves that stuff. She still gets fresh veggies while preparing my dinner and wet food once in a while but she doesn't need extra motivation to eat her kibble anymore. It made me stupid happy.
