I'm not really one to criticize, but that BM doesn't do it for me at that level...

I was unimpressed with the few DDBs I saw--- they seemed shorter and squatter than I was expecting.

The Corsos were nice-- and bigger than I had imagined (only met one, in real life--she was a small CC.)

Of course, we don't need to go into the Fat Lab phenomenon...these guys being shown were chunky!

I see you got a shot of a trio of fake Apollos (Leonbergers)! The Huskys on the table made me laugh.

Haha- yes. I actually tried to find some TMs, but didn't see any. I got there late, so many were packing up to leave. But, were TMs represented this year?

BTW- not Huskies. Malamutes, although the one standing is pretty small (daughter of the male lying down.)

Yah, I typed that and then thought that I was wrong about them being huskys.

There were four TMs there this year and they were in ring 10 at 1:30 today.

Hmmm. I was too late, then. Gotta get there earlier next year...

I work with labs all day long. We call that build kegs on legs.

Just personal opinion & slightly bias I was extremely impressed with the Corso & the EM. Sasha was gorgeous too & I got super excited when he pulled her out. I've never seen a mastiff place in the top 4 within group so I was excited when I saw the EM got 2nd.

I was actually surprised by the amount of dogs in the show that were from Texas! Even the BIS judge was!

Okay gotta brag a little, BJ's litter mate, Binny, took Select today :) Pretty happy for my breeder, he has had 2 litters, in those he has had; 2 x top 5 invites to Westminster, 1 BIS (only male CC to achieve that so far) 2 GCH, 4 CH, 1 CAN/AM CH, multiple TDI, CGC/CGN, a RN, an IPO BH, and Select at Westminster... not too shabby IMO. Okay I had a big grin all day, I am a dog geek.

Most of the DDB's were small. I met a judge at the vet and she told me that Titan had a beautiful head but she would disqualify him for being short. Hmmmm...

Cane Corsos were stunning especially the winner!
