What is the perfect dog to you?

Off the top of my head it would be a dog that doesn't have fear aggression, separation anxiety, destructive tendencies, noise anxiety, an escape artist, and it can't be a dog that doesn't mind stepping in or eating poop. Perhaps I'm asking too much lol.

You just described Kujo...

No fear aggression
Not destructive (hasn't destroyed a single thing in the year we've had him)
Noise doesn't bother him (power tools, thunder, sirens, etc.)
Will not leave the yard even when gate is wide open
Does not eat poo
Does not step in poo...that I know of...
I do think he gets a little depressed when we leave...but the worst that he does is sleep on the couch.

Okay now all you need to do is tell us is how do you clone or find a dog like Kujo - let the cat out of the bag

How old was Kujo when you got him? Sorry for all the questions - trying to get the perfect dog lol

lol, no worries. He was 12 weeks old, drove 3 hours to pick from 2 puppies that were left, he was the one to stay by me the entire time I was visiting with the pups...so he chose me :)

I'll take mine.... Can't promise about the poop...we're working on it. Right now cat poop is fascinating. And, yeah, her helicopter poop method does sometimes mean she steps in it.... No one is perfect.
I like my husband cooking me breakfast in bed...If Bailey was cooking, I'd be lucky to get crusts (what goes around....)
I'll stick with mine, but Kujo is a close second.

Mateo, too. :)

Seriously, he is stable, temperament-wise:

No fear aggression, or SA.

He does not (or has not destroyed anything)-- okay, as a pup he chewed 1" of a leather strap of my clog. That's it, really.

He lives in the city, so there is no noise that bothers him (ambulances screaming a few feet away, street sweepers...nothing.)

He doesn't wander, really; sticks around me when out and about.

Has never eaten poop. He stepped in it once, and literally made a disgusting face and yanked his paw away, LOL.

And he is not a food hound; never begs, and eats only for nurishment (which even I find odd..)

So............. the results are in: DDB's RULE! :p
