I decided to paint my bedroom and discovered that Kryten's abilities could still surprise me. When moving furniture that hadnt moved from before he came home i discovered drieddrool strings on the walls. It was on every wall behind every peice of furniture and not by the edges but 2-3 feet into the hidden wall. The drool slinging capacity of this boy is rediculous.
He doesn't seem that contrite that I had to do extra scrubbing to get dried drool off the walls.
I am so with you on this...and I have an essentially drool free Mastiff (dainty little princess), but...I must admit there are several extreme examples in the house. There's one at almost (target practice) the ceiling above my computer. Ugh! And coming down the stairs every day, I am confronted with what can only be described as a gymnastic level drool splatter way up above reach on the tall hall wall. Grrr. How does she do it?
Every time someone comes in the store with a dog, I go into pup overdrive. Hugs, kisses, snuggles and, of course, treats. Often owners warn me about their drool/goober, and I just say I have a Mastiff, my house is decorated in "early drool" and I admit that she is very creative about its placement.
And painting my friend, would include scrubbing and sanding off the "early work." I'm only 5'5", and some is distinctly out of reach. I need to hire for this job and I'm holding off for a lottery win so that the whole house can be done at once. Tee Hee!
