I decided to paint my bedroom and discovered that Kryten's abilities could still surprise me. When moving furniture that hadnt moved from before he came home i discovered drieddrool strings on the walls. It was on every wall behind every peice of furniture and not by the edges but 2-3 feet into the hidden wall. The drool slinging capacity of this boy is rediculous.
He doesn't seem that contrite that I had to do extra scrubbing to get dried drool off the walls.

I am so with you on this...and I have an essentially drool free Mastiff (dainty little princess), but...I must admit there are several extreme examples in the house. There's one at almost (target practice) the ceiling above my computer. Ugh! And coming down the stairs every day, I am confronted with what can only be described as a gymnastic level drool splatter way up above reach on the tall hall wall. Grrr. How does she do it?

Every time someone comes in the store with a dog, I go into pup overdrive. Hugs, kisses, snuggles and, of course, treats. Often owners warn me about their drool/goober, and I just say I have a Mastiff, my house is decorated in "early drool" and I admit that she is very creative about its placement.

And painting my friend, would include scrubbing and sanding off the "early work." I'm only 5'5", and some is distinctly out of reach. I need to hire for this job and I'm holding off for a lottery win so that the whole house can be done at once. Tee Hee!

Hilarious! I'm pretty lucky that my two are not terribly drooly... That said Diesel's drool didn't kick in at all until about two years old so there is still time to watch out for that with Kahlua.

Now Diesel only drools when he sees food he wants and it just drips into a huge puddle beneath him. No flinging... But, those puddles he makes are pretty impressive in size.

Let's hold a drool contest. The drooliest dog wins bragging rights (right now, I think Smokeycat is in the lead.)

My bedroom is fully painted with drool everywhere, the most art is on the door. I've found it on every wall in the house, pictures hanging on the wall, every TV, even in the tiniest of crevices where the wall meets up with a door in between the molding around the door and the wall (can only get to it with a Q-Tip). He is super creative about his drool art in the house. Sounds like this weekend will be spent de-drooling the whole house.

I've gotten used to finding drool at the top of walls and on the ceiling. Kryten started drooling at 6 months and has only gotten worse as he got older. I really thought he couldn't surprise me with drool anymore. This was the very first drool string he created, they are never that small now.
