Sage hurt her front leg

They did check for a fever, but not for any tick items. They asked us if she had had any ticks or do we treat for them. Sage hasn't had a tick on her that we've found and I do a thorough rub down every few days. Bella did have one the first month we had them and I got the exterminator to do a tick spray in the yard. They didn't find any and actually said our yard wasn't conducive to them as there is nowhere for the ticks to hide and fall on the dogs. We think she got it from the dog park.

Here leg is much better today and she actually didn't limp at all after yesterday morning and still hasn't limped yet today.

Karennj - what should I ask the vet to check for?

If she doesn't have a fever the chances of tick related diseases is less. They can do a snap test (4dx) to rule it out. If she heals and then starts limping suddenly again I would deff do the test. It's usually not expensive.

she's about the right age for pano .

The vet did mention pano but wanted to see how she did this route first. She is doing so great. She got a bit more exercise today (10 min walk) and hasn't limped. She also 'jumped' on my husband's watch while he was making her morning meal and didn't limp any from that either. The girls both get very excited when they are about to eat...it's like we never feed them or something.
