no the cameras don't cover that area but I didn't let him know that. My company got sued because a mother gave her child hot cocoa and he spilled it on himself. We lost our contract with Nestle over it. Took about 12 years to get it back.

Once again, Mike, you are my hero.
A one man front against stupidity.

So sorry your neighbor feels it necessary to rent to idiots. Any chance you could get him to put a "warning, the neighbor's dog's don't take shit from anyone - please keep your distance" flyer in his "welcome" package for renters?

Dennasmom, he has a company rent on his behalf and they have been told he does not want dogs in his house. There used to be a Memo in the house stating Leave the dogs next door alone, Do not feed or harras the dogs as they may bite.

Another update. Well I thought they had left but maybe they just got a different cabin because this morning I found a note on my gate. It said, "We are very sorry to have cause your grief and did not intend to disrupt your life. We made a terrible mistakes and will have to life with it. Very Sorry"

Yep DD they won a case against us over the mother's stupidity. You don't give a standing chilled child Hot Cocoa in a crowded fast food store and turn your back on him. But she did, he got bumped and spilled the drink all over his front side. They said it was out fault and won.

Might be worth checking with him, or the company, and confirming thats still on the rental contract, and if it is make them aware that the most recent folks DID bring their dog....

If the attack happens on your propert from their dog it is their fault. But who wants the hassle. Maybe when these renters leave put up some chicken wire on their side and that should keep any dog from infiltrating the BB Zone! Good Luck!

2 sets of renters back they brought dogs and left them in the cabin alone while the humans went to the slopes. The dogs tore the hell out of the house and I called the owner who is my friend. I told him about the shades being ripped down by this dog and he called the rental agency and told them to kick the renters out. Well the agency blew him off and just made them crate the dog. So I let Brian (home owner) know about it. He came up and personally kicked them out. And told the agency to repair the damages. This was about 45 days ago. They replaced the blinds just a week ago. Brian has asked me to ask around for a more reliable Rental Agency. So far they all have the same reputation.

Yah, a friend of mine is struggling with the same problem with a rental/property management problem, but her's is on the other side of the country from you, so I was hoping!

Sounds like you need to get another camera to cover that area. That way if this ever happens again you have proof.

I am looking into some IP PTZ cameras to replace what I have. They are 720 and 1080P stuff so the image will be real nice and clear.
