Most expensive thing your mastiff has destroyed?

My boy loves tissues! Doesn't hurt the box but pulls all the tissues out and shreds them!

When we went to the breeders house to meet our puppies parents and pick him out , Leonidas was attacking a roll of paper towels . I should have foreseen a chewing/paper goods problem !!

This was after the remote. All I did when I came home was say "Mario, What did you do?" In a shocked voice... He ran to the backyard... He always knows when he's done something naughty & acts very guilty. :p he's easier to catch than my kids

This is the face of wedge destroyer!!! 3 pairs when she was younger. Also destroyed a remote. But the most expensive had to be the 3 crates we went through. She bent them so bad that the welds broke.

As of tonight, I believe Junior is up to around 10 pairs of the wife's boots...

When I was married I had my DDB and a Dane mastiff mix when they would get going it got crazy. My DDB was running around as fast as she could she jumped on the couch and it tipped over. Her butt hit my 6'x5' window. I heard the glass crunch and fall. She didn't get hurt, but it was $400 I think.

Not a mastiff, but my Lab/Collie mix destroyed my deck about 20 years ago. Chewed and tore off all the lattice, destroyed the steps, ripped off all of the railing, and messed up about half of the flooring on it. My Mastiff mix ate my Saddle bags, and my Pyr/German Shepherd mix tried to set my house on fire by bringing in a branch from our campfire in through the dog door! She made it through the dog door, laundry room and kitchen before she dropped it on the dining room floor and went back for another one! Luckily, I was in the house and put it out before we had MAJOR damage (I wanted new flooring anyway) and then had to tell my husband he had to watch her when she was outside, not be putting around working in the yard, because I am not sure if our insurance guy would believe the dog was the reason our house burned down!

Vinny and AKbull , LOVE the pics!! And yeah us ladies don't like our shoes to be chewed! Lol thank goodness Mack doesn't have a shoe fetish!

Zbarry, that's crazy!! Glad no one was hurt!! We have a glass front door and when someone walks buy and beats on it like crazy, so scared he us gunna bust it one day

Acain37, I hate to say that I LOL at your story about burning branch... That's horrible! Hope you got your new flooring ;)

I’m very much enjoying this thread:) fortunately for us though, we have the perfect puppy! Tully absolutely never destroys the cushions, pulls the runs on the couch, toilets inside, eats the kids school bags, smashes into the door with both feet when she wants to come in and we absolutely never wake to the sound of our timber bed head being eaten:)

Only yesterday someone snuck in while Tully was asleep and tore up all the Christmas glossies from the table. Fortunately Tully was there to help us clean them up:)

Non-mastiff related, Years ago we worked out our English setter costs us in excess of $4,000 in bills and repairs in his first 2 years. Needless to say I am now extremely good at re-wiring trailers, replacing bike pedals, brakes and seats, sweeping up glass tables and repairing doors. He is now also the “Perfect†old man and hasn’t destroyed a thing for many years so we live in hope:)!

Too cute. The paper hanging from the side of the mouth is a common sight around here.

Two pair of $250 sunglasses. Mom is a slow learner. She doesn't take anything else off the table except my sun glasses. No counter surfing for food, no tv remotes, just my sunglasses. I have to keep them on the kitchen counter raised bar or they are toast.
