Terrible... I was just looking through our CL and someone is trying to sell "Nearly purebred" Dachshunds. Ugh.

My daughter talked me into adopting a 10 year old Rott off of craigslist- I don't have a clue what I was thinking but when I got to the house and saw the dog I wasn't going to leave her there- They charged me a $20.00 rehoming fee and gave me some nasty toys and some ol' Roy food! Needless to say we pulled around the corner and tossed everything they gave us and immediately went to the store...she was so overweight these people were telling us that she just loved cheeseburgers! We had her until she passed at the age of 12. Her name was Angel and she was just our little luv bug here's a photo right after we brought her home and gave her a bath! Angel.jpg

The only reason I can think someone would give up a hamster due to pregnancy is fear of toxoplasmosis. Even still, use gloves! I changed the litterbox throughout my pregnancy and had no problems. So sad.

2 year old male full blooded English Mastiff needing a wonderful forever home. Wonderful big boy, utd on all shots, great health, very big, and very lazy. Would be best in home without small children. Great with our small dogs. Does great on walks. Completely house broken and has complete run over the house. Doesnt even beg for food or get on the furniture. Kills us to part with him, but our kids are too much for him. He has been chipped and neutered and also comes with papers. Email for more info and pics.

I'm not sure if i mind the trade offer. I mean, if the bow is of good quality and worth as much as he says and a breeder (hopefully not a BYB) comes across it and decides they'd like to do the deal who i am to judge? Of course I mean if everything is on the up and up, dog is of good quality/health and potential owner is truly committed to having one. I dunno, it's a free market and what's really the difference in trading a high price item vs. cash for a puppy? Maybe i'm wrong i dunno, just my opinion.

This is why I have to struggle EVERYDAY to like the majority of the human race! HORRIBLE!!! I just look at those pups faces and it breaks my heart to think of where they have been and worse, where they will end up.

Jenn your not the only one, on my way to work today I saw a dog crossing a ramp getting ready to enter the highway, unfortunatley I was too far ahead to do anything, I don't know what happened but more than likey the dog didn't make it. Shortly after that there were some Canadian Geese with babies no less, crossing the street people were flying right by them couple of people almost hit them. I don't know how they made out either. People are selfish, hateful, and spiteful to one another what chance does a "lower lifeform" stand in this "sociey"
