Thanks everyone! They really do love the yard and last night they got to sleep with me again and this morning they are both eating like the normal food hounds they are. The cat, BrrBeary is also getting more settled and even ventured out of his hiding place last night.
I have to admit I was a little nervous taking them out for the last potty of the night. We are surrounded by all the big beautiful trees with the green space/nature behind us and I kept hearing noises in the trees and was having terrified mental images of cougars or bears coming out at us in the night. It is dead dark here at night. No city lights at all. I told Sean we should put up some twinkle lights or something in our back yard to make it less pitch black.
