I was mesmerized when I saw this picture. Absolutely stunning. And that white cross on his belly, gahh love it.
I really like the look of a black Corso...

I am partial to the blacks as well but I can tell you I dislike the ear crop on that last male. It is too much like a show Dane or boxer, not enough bell and too high for me, but is a nice looking dog.
they made the dog look like a devil, thats why I liked them.
I understand about the long crop though, must've been a pain to post!
So, Corsos are supposed to have more of a show/short crop then?
Yes a shorter crop although not hacked off at the head and a decent amount of bell to make the correct triangle shape. There are a couple posts on here about corsi crops that you can see but to me that is too long making the dog have a great dane appearance to that dog. There are people that prefer it but I prefer a shorter crop but not the hacked off "warrior" crop that some people do either.
"cropped, it is in an equilateral triangle. If uncropped, they are medium size, triangular in shape"
According to the Standard in regards to cropping.
I am not a fan of the longer pointy dobbie crop either.
I am partial to black CC myself. But any CC of any color with correct type and expression does it for me
correct expression?
The scary piercing one that seems to see through you clear to your soul. That make you shiver when they look at you because it feels like they see everything about you, but also the scariest stare that someone that isn't familiar to the breed can experience as it leaves them very concerned if they have bad intentions!
Look in this thread http://www.mastiff-forum.com/showthread.php/7841-Worms!-Eeek! and look for the pic of Roly's Dad. He isn't looking at the camera but he has the look IMO. Course I don't know anything about Corsi. <G>Mmmmmm...sounds wonderful
got a pic of that?
For me correct expression should illicit an emotional response and be free of the influences of other breeds.
Here is one of my very fav males out there, I love this dog having met him multiple times.

I like both the short and battle crop IF done correctly of course. Even saw a dane one time with a short crop it actually looked pretty good. IMO
