Here people know the facts..Many people do..Infact,they are mixing those dogs with M.N. , you'll see how many champions will be 60 kg+ with heavier bones and level bite :D
Those who used mastiffs, boxers and everything that they found aren't making money anymore with ''standard corsos" so they are getting more..Rustic.
Remember the words of an Italian guy. You'll see them change :D

Everyone has facts, just depends on who's "facts" you want to listen to. I have talked to an old Italian guy, a couple of them actually as well as others :) I always continue to learn but I never take just one person's opinion as there are so many varieties of kool-aid to drink.

You have to talk to who doesn't breed anymore, because if you'll go to speak to Umberto Leone he will say that the right bite is the underbite, when 10 years ago he said everything against tha kind of selection.Italians are gypsies , that's pretty ''normal'',when they see money the would sell even their mom to get it :)
Btw,not people who lives in USA and has ancestors, because they have never seen a cane corso.I mean with people from Manfredonia,Foggia,Cerignola the guys who made fights with cane corso, those that worked with it..The fun fact is that when you talk with people that ''changed side'' they get angry and nervous and don't answer the questions made..But well that's the Italian way once again :D
But as you said depends to who you talk with :)

Since I neither want a catch dog, nor a war dog, that doesn't interest me. There are many dogs of all breeds who resemble neither parent. Genetics are a marvelous thing. I fail to see where not resembling ones parents is proof of any misdoing, and as I've stated, I don't accept anecdotes and hearsay as evidence regardless of the subject matter. That is my position and that is where I'll leave it so as to not derail this thread further.
You seem to be an intelligent guy,but this thoughts make fall this idea. Have fun with mixed breed :)

I have talked to those that still breed and those that don't. Like I said I don't consider just one source. I am quite comfortable with the people I talk to and ask questions of without the political stuff and personal agendas coming in the play.

Nice looking dog like the third picture.

I actually saw my first corso in person this morning while driving to work. Beautiful dog.
