Funny, as soon as I read your post I looked at your avitar & laughed! I thought you were talking about the chicken! He needs a hat.

what a beautiful pooch. Harv just turned a year and is weighing in at 170 lbs. When that boy plays the dead weight game he is near impossible to move..lol

OMFG! When my Loki (about 220 lbs now) does that... he IS impossible to move! He does it all the time in bed. Suddenly rolls on his back and goes completely limp. Can't budge him for anything. Pain in the butt when he beats me to the bed and is on my side.

I have owned big boys my entire life, to me they aren't really big, just normal. We have a vet check today at 4, and I already dred the usual comments from people. What is that? Do you ride him? OMG What does he eat? (The last time I replied, little tiny dogs... to a yorkie owner, that did not go over well). My vet says I am the one with the size perspective issue not her other clients!

Cruiser was being silly and rolled over with his big feet in the air and belly up which is unusual and we noticed a little dark colored growth around one of his nipples. I am not happy about it and a bit scared, other wise it is routine vacs! I have a feeling we have gone over the 200lb mark.
I assume everything went ok with the growth and its nothing to worry about?

I pick up my big lug tomorrow. We've been on vacation, all of us! We (hubby & I) went camping/4wheeling,hiking, fishing. Cruiser spent a week at a pet resort with his neo buddy Disesel. My other creatures were boarded. Boarding everyone costs a small fortune. I cant wait to see my boy! He has been in good hand, a rolm with a couch, tv, outdoor run, nature walks, playground time, spa baths... heck Cruiser and Diesel get better comforts on their stay then ours!

My handsome hound at age 3! He has lost a bit of weight thank goodness and is down to 185. At three he is mellow, funny, loving, gentle, obedient and very attentive, everything english mastiffs are known for. I couldn't ask for a better companion.
