I keep hearing and reading different stories about how the Corso's act once they are older. I have also seen different types of behaviors in them. Anyone have a Corso that is loving and affectionate as other pups and like to sit on your laps, snuggle, and lay with you all like maybe a lab? I had one breeder tell me that when they get older they may want to be in the same room with you but would just be to themselves and another breeder say they want to be on you. I certainly like the thought of a big loving dog laying on my lap or on the couch with me but ready to protect when needed.
I personally am a firm believer that it is all in how you treat and raise them. I know folks that teach pups not to give kisses or lick them. I for one love to be kiss by a pup. I know Corso's have a major slobber kiss but it's something I enjoy getting hugs and kisses on the cheek from my fur baby. I used to tease my lab trying to kiss her on her head or nose and she would turn her head from me as I approach. LoL, and she never gave kisses which was depressing...
