Updateeeeeee!
It's not his... It's his right knee. The vet did an orthapedic exam and was pressing on Outlaws right knee and sure enough there was signs of pain..he whined when the vet pressed on it. I do not recall an injury what so ever... He thinks it could have happened when he was playing. Got referral to Orthapedic surgeon! Yea! But poor Outlaw... What could this be? ACL? Meniscus?

Just my opinion, but please do your research before you let them do surgery. I would also get him on a supplement, ASAP. I've had good luck with Phycox. Something with Glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM.

My first EM tore her ACL & was completely non-weight bearing. I agree with AB, do more research before allowing surgery.

so not ad bad as cold have bin, go with the advise every one is giving. the specialist should give you better/fuller diagnosis, and what you are looking at in ways of treatment, but i would tell them before they put a hand on him, that you would like to try no surgical treatment first, so they don't try to make you do the sugary, i have found if you tell them first before the even put a hand on the dog they will have it in mined, you mite get to that point later but hopefully he will have finished growing by then, please let us know what they says hope it is an easy fix
you mite want to look at this site, http://tiggerpoz.com/id3.htm

Small ACL tear... X-rays showed that it was already trying to heal on its own... Waiting a couple of months with good rest and moderate exercise he will then X-ray again to see for any changes... He doesn't want to do surgery if he can help it and also said to young anyhow... At least he isn't limping.! Oh and hips were perfectly normal from X-ray. Suggested tight rope surgery if needed... Shewwwwww
