They make, or used to anyway, gell like versions of it. Was supposed to be less likely to be blown about but required better aim. Not sure how it would work to break up amdog fight though.
If a dog is already engaged in a fight I wouldn't use any device as I believe it would further the aggression towards one another. That's why I believe the best chance is to "attack" the dog(s) before they engage on yours.
Someone did tell me wasp spray works too
Only where it can't come even close to getting blown back on your dog. It can cause permenent nerve damage.
That's why I prefer a good cattle prod, personally or better yet a gun unless your uncoordinated it would be hard to miss your target.
Got some pepper spray today and believe it or not it wasnt easy to obtain. I originally was going to order online but I realized you can purchase it and have it shipped to this state. Newer laws put into place within the last few years. I had to find an authorized dealer which was a cop store in my area thank God. Crazy!!
Not arguing, living in NY state I have to be extra carefull with deadly force though....I'll stick to pepper spray for the initial response, which doesn't mean that I don't make sure I have something to back it up......
I swear I lived in a bubble for many years. Having my dog has now opened my eyes to more than I could even imagine and its just beginning.
