What To Watch?

At the end of the day, I like to cuddle up with the dogs and Roku and I'm looking for new shows to watch. Anyone have any suggestions?

To give you an idea of what I lean towards, my Netflix queue contains shows like Burn Notice (have a little crush on Mr. Weston), White Collar, Hart of Dixie, all of the Law & Orders show, Pitbulls & Paroles, and My Cat From Hell. (I wish someone offered Rizzoli & Isle and CSI: Las Vegas. )

Any good movie suggestions? My tastes run towards movies like The Shawshank Redemption, Goodwill Hunting and Grosse Pointe Blank.

Any suggestions for comedies - TV or movie?

Just recently got netflix and love it! I like a lot of the shows you watch and some maybe a bit grittier. Have discovered some really good ones on netflix(am loving the brits!) :Luther, Sherlock, Whitechapel, Doc Martin(much lighter), and Our version of House of Cards with Kevin Spacey.

Recently watched "Stand Up Guys" on Netflix...loved it! Definitely recommend this one

Isn't House of Cards amazing! My mom kept bugging me to watch it and I wasn't sure that it sounded all that good but once I started it turned into a marathon! Good news, too-they're releasing the second season on February 14th!

I'm usually not big into political shows, but I gave it a chance and so far I'm loving it. Big Spacey fan and I love how he talks to us directly about what he's thinking. Those are usually the best parts.

Love him, too, plus I live in NC very close to SC and spend much of the summer down there. Like that ugly ass peach "butt" is actually real and about 45 min from my house. So that definitely adds to the interest. (the locale not the peach!)
I have to say, if you haven't watched Luther-that is must see tv and by far one of the best shows I've watched in a long time! I just got my husband into it and he loves it. The way I've gone on about "Luther", you'd think I was getting commission!
