  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

What kind of phone do you have?

Yea I'm kinda annoyed by the different charger cord too. We have so many of the other one between two iphones, two ipads and four ipods.

Glad you started this thread...we are do for upgrades in a couple of weeks, THANK GOD!!! My husband and I both have the HTC Status. Biggest POS phone I have ever owned! We were both Blackberry users for so long, and thought we would go with a droid that resembled it...huge mistake!! We are torn as to what do we go with. I have a couple of friends that have the Galaxy S3 (or 3s, whatever it is) and absolutely love it. We haven't even really gotten to play with the droid app world, since our phones don't have enough internal memory to be able to download something. And you can't download to a memory card, anything that requires "updating" can't be stored on a memory card. Like I said, HUGE POS! Let us know what you choose, hopefully it will be before we go in to upgrade ours. :)
Well my husband's upgrade date is tomorrow but he may wait for tax money depending on how much they want to charge for the iphone 5. I could upgrade tomorrow too or in April so we will see.

Tell me about it. I have a charger plugged in on each side of my bed since most of my phone use, well when I work from home, is when I'm in bed. The charger by the wall that my bed is pushed up against is actually my iPad charger. I didn't think to ask but I'm wondering if the latest & greatest iPad chargers are similar to the iPhone 5. I just make sure to carry the charger with me if I know I'm gonna be away from the house for a while. Just in case. It may be that apple is going to be transitioning to the smaller cords. That I don't know.

How much bigger is it than the 4? Like is it too big to stick in a butt pocket? That's where my phone usually ends up.

Christina the iPhone 5 (with upgrade) is the same price as the other iPhones. I bought the 32 GB & paid $373. $299 for the phone & $45 for case & Zagg screen protector. If you have a best buy near you I'd recommend going there to purchase. They give you a deal on the case & screen protector if you buy at the same time as the phone. Original prices for those were $35 for the case & $25 for the screen protector.

Otherwise the regular 16 GB is $199 with upgrade so will probably run you about $215-225 depending on what tax rate you have where you are. Here it's 8.25%.

If you have older versions of iPhones I think 4 & newer they will take them as a trade in if they're in good shape. The iPhone 4 I have which is in near perfect condition with a few very unnoticeable scratches, they were going to give me $170 for it. As long as the phone has no water damage. Those water damage indicators can be found on the top of the phone inside the headphone jack at the bottom & there's a spot where you plug the charger in. If those indicators are pink that means the phone has suffered water damage & is basically worthless. Unless you're like me & you sell the phone on CL. I sold my 8 month old 4S on CL for $250. When the guy noticed the water damage indicators were pink he asked if the phone had been submerged. I said nope don't know why they're like that. Otherwise the phone was in perfect condition. He bought it anyway. Lol. I know. I'm a bad person for lying but I was trying to recoup some of the money I spent. :p

I have the Galaxy S 2 and I love it. I am going to be upgrading to the S3 as soon as I am able. I was at the phone store checking it out the other day. It is WAY fast and I love having the ability to customize everything. I have never been big on "i" stuff, although my daughter has her share of apple products! My cousin and his girlfriend just moved from the ipone over to the galaxy and they also love it.

I'm so indecisive. I hate returning things so I'm worried if I get something besides the iphone I'll be stuck with it for two years.

See I have a ton of apps but I hardly ever use any of them. I just don't need that much from my phone but I still want it to be cool haha.

I'm not too picky haha. I don't talk on the phone much but I text a lot, use instant messengers alot, music is important, camera needs to be decent. That's about it. I'm fairly low maintanence.
