What is your best Xmas gift this year?

Beyond being thanful that I am not homeless, My best gift was to have all of the kids, their other halves, the grandbabies and my boys here to Celebrate. The boys love having all of the family over and there is nothing like hearing everyone laughing, talking and playing and eating together. We had our celebration on Christmas Eve and then the boys opened thier presents and stockings on Christmas morning. Life so good.

Yes, Life Is Good! We have so much to be thankful for...All Of Us.

Well, it's either socks or...


I got a long letter from an old friend explaining how something I said (years and years ago) had made a huge impact upon her.

She thought I had probably forgotten and I had... but reading her recounting provided me with one of those "that justifies my existence" moments.

The details aren't important, but the totally unanticipated recognition made a pretty cool gift.


Every now and then I get something right.
