Kate's story:
Kate was in the Knox County Ohio Dog Shelter for 3 months when they gave her 1 month to find a home. Concerned volunteers reached out to a CCR volunteer begging for her life to be spared. She was called in as a stray and the person that called in put a heavy chain around her neck so tight that it had to be cut off. It is also apparent that she has had a litter of puppies. She is a small Corso, under 80 lbs, but she is full of love. She is a very sweet and affectionate girl.. She loves her tennis ball and will carry it around. She is approximately 2 and will be spayed, vetted and chipped.
