Update - Deacon at 8 months...

Here is an update of my boy Deacon, he weighs 90.6 lbs, he's getting bolder at securing the boundary (inside and outside) of the house, he's getting stronger by the day and his instincts are really kicking in now. He watches everybody and everything.

He's such a great Presa Canario, I made the right choice in getting him. He's impacted my life in such a way, its hard for me to express. If I'm having a bad day, he's right there...with his big ole' head...LOL...and it makes me feel so good. Seeing him run to me when I get home from work or him waking me up in the morning (being right at my side of the bed...looking at me like 'its time to get up'...LOL)...he's the best.

I just wished other people and dogs in my neighborhood were not afraid of him. All they do is bark at him and snip at him (he ignores them) but I can tell he's not happy by it, when all he wants to do is play. So, I will be getting another Presa Canario soon (Fawn Female...the puppy is 3 weeks now) so he can have his own friend to play with. I'm excited and I know Deacon will be excited as well.

Deacon is very handsome,you will always have people who are afraid but if they would just look past the huge exterios they would see our gentle giants,but then how stupid some people are and there dogs im glad they stay away,congrats on the new pup we got budcuss a little brother he loves him they play all the time,dont forget to post pics of your new pup when you get him home.

Thanks glen, I appreciate it. I agree with you on them staying away though. I'm so proud of Deacon in how he behaves out in public, I'm happy I can take him to different places. I will definitely post some pics of my new puppy when I get her.
