So the moment you've all been waiting for... (okay maybe not), but I'm so excited. Ive been planning and researching and preparing for over 2 years now. I'm pleased to announce my first breeding. Brinkley should be coming into season soon, and hopefully if everything goes right I will be flooding you all with millions of adorable puppy pictures several months later.

I haven't really 'announced' anything anywhere else yet other than post on my website, I'm waiting until the breeding actually takes place to do too much ... but I have 12-15 people on a potential list that have contacted me, I'm sure some will drop off as they contacted me on a whim and don't even know who the stud is yet, but it's a start. I'm keeping one and I have a show home or two that are wanting something specific, so if I have a puppy that matches what they are looking for there's that. Why? You want one LOL? I've yet to do my background checks, so everyone is still fair game. I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure these puppies only go to the best of homes :).

Congratulations! What a beautiful pairing. I am so excited for you and hope you will share pictures of the pups while they grow.

Brinkley is a fawn brindle and Wallace is a fawn, so we could have a mix of either of the two colors.

no apricots, we could only get an apricot if either of them were apricot or apricot brindle.

Fawn x Fawn = Fawn offspring
Fawn x Fawn Brindle = Fawn and/or Fawn Brindle offspring
Fawn x Apricot = Fawn and/or Apricot Offspring
Fawn x Apricot Brindle = Fawn, Apricot, Fawn Brindle and/or Apricot Brindle Offspring
Apricot x Apricot Brindle = Apricot and/or Apricot Brindle Offspring
Apricot x Apricot = Apricot Offspring
Apricot x Fawn Brindle = Fawn, Apricot, Apricot Brindle and/or Fawn Brindle Offspring
Apricot Brindle x Fawn Brindle = Fawn, Apricot, Apricot Brindle and/or Fawn Brindle Offspring

I think I got it all there :)

...not totally, Amanda...

Is Brinkley a double brindle? If she is, then all she'll throw is brindles ... were both of her parents brindle?

Nope Darrin, she's a Fawn x Fawn Brindle baby, but good point! She could quite possible throw fawns. I didn't want to confuse the matter and start stating what was dominant vs. recessive.

Wow, Amanda! You must be so proud of yourself (and have every right to be)!!!

Congratulations!

I just browsed through your website and I'm so impressed. It's amazing what you have done with your time over the past few hears to achieve this goal. I can't imagine these puppies turning out to be less than spectacular!
